OPTIMALISASI PERAN LAYANAN INFORMASI DALAM MENCEGAH DAN MENGATASI MENTAL ILLNES DI SMP NEGERI 1 MEREK

Abstract

This research aims to provide solutions for students at SMP Negeri 1 Brand in facing the challenges that teenagers often face today, namely mental health disorders or mental illness. It also aims to identify various problems that may occur among these students. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques use documentation and focused discussion. The research subjects were 25 grade 9 students of SMP Negeri 1Merek Karo Regency. The results of this research show that 25 students of SMP Negeri 1 Brand, Karo district, were very enthusiastic about this activity. The students also asked several questions related to mental illness in accordance with the theme of this research. And there is curiosity from students regarding the topic of mental illness.
